Is anyone auditioning as a supplement to their Princeton app? By tape or live? Has anyone already? Also, any inside scoop on the Princeton Theater (and Dance) department?

you cant audition live. fyi. the application lies lol.

really? one of the people applying from my school auditioned for singing.

oh? cuz i know for instrument and acting you cant audition live. they just tell u to send in a tape/recording

Meh isn't that better anyway? You can retape and retape until you get it right.

Not as big as Yale's, but the student productions that I have seen are quite good.

ya except it just shows that they dont take it as seriously :-X oh well! thats ok! i forgot to send in the arts supplement like 2-3 weeks before teh deadlin so oh well

My friend who's a freshman there this year says that musical theatre is big in Tigerland. That makes me happy. My Fair Lady is mega-fun. But yeah, send in tapes, for those who haven't applied yet! It can only help you, so...yeah!

yea princeton has HUGE musical theatre. i love musicacl theatre. WHO ELSE IS OBSESSED!

I used to hate it, but I'm starting to come around. I guess it all just depends on what show it is, y'know?

Oh, I'm most DEFINATELY obsessed! That's really weird about the taped auditions, though... The admissions officer who came to my school said that they encouraged live auditions. Oh well. I don't think I could have gotten over there anyway.
