I hear that Syracuse Has a GREAT Theatre Program, Is this true?

Yes, they have an excellent program.

The students get a strong base through the acting core classes, and then the range of classes and opportunities grows throughout the four years. Students have the benefit of working alongside professionals at the LORT regional theater Syracuse Stage. There are also unique opportunities like Tepper Semester (in NYC) or Sorkin Week (in LA) for students who want to have the chance to see casting directors, producers and actors in these top markets.

At Syracuse, it is a small department within a big university, so you can have both conservatory training and the full university experience.

Syracuse drama is also known for their abroad program at Syracuse London Center or Syracuse Florence, and there are other abroad programs the university has around the world. They have a lot like summer programs, Spring break programs, semester programs and year-round programs, so you can choose the abroad experience that suits you.

Sounds like you’ve already heard good things about it, and the program is certainly something to look into. Good luck with your college search!

Thanks a lot! I think this school will be my top choice!
