Does not seem to be lots of traffic in this forum in general – let’s see about theatre tech folks. 
Anyone have info on props programs at the BFA program schools? We know about UNCSA’s specialty but do not know of others.

Props design often falls under scenic design (along with scenic painting, set dressing, etc.), so I’d say try checking out some of those.

NCSA is a great school and has some prop legends at it. Also OU has a great grad program for props. I teach at Pace University in NYC and we have a good program. I would look at doing an internship as a sophomore and junior as well as your senior year to get a great foundation. I head the props department at the Public Theater and we have a great summer program. Juilliard also has a great internship program headed by Kate Dale. Best of luck out there.
