For anyone who has applied ED to Smith, did you receive an email from Debra Shaver about her favorite theme song?

Not ED but I got one.

Same. I applied RD and I got the email this afternoon.

what was the theme song mentioned in the email you received?

I did not apply but I got the e-mail…

Put your records on, Corrine Bailey Rae was the admission officer’s

For the theme song, can we do foreign songs (not in English) and should we quote lines from the song?

I got it, i thought it was a very nice touch.

Why didn’t I get it? Is there a theme song in email? Actually, I don’t really get what you mean~

dippindots:I used a Franch song, but I didn’t include quotes. They want it to be short (150 words) and it’s not an analytial question, it’s personal. That’s how I interpreted it.

lotus i used a french song too! and same, no quotations

I’m applying RD, I haven’t submitted my apps yet. Why haven’t I received the email?

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe this is an essay question on the Smith supplement to the Common Application.

can anyone who got the email post the content here?
i wish to see it before i submit my supplement and i assume others do too.
