Theology Masters/Divinity School

Hi everyone,

I am looking to apply to graduate school for theology soon for a Master of Theological Studies. I attend a small liberal arts college and will be able to graduate in three years (I took all 18 and 19 credit hour semesters). I majored in Theology and minored in Spanish. My stats are as follows:

Cumulative GPA: 3.94 (will hopefully go up after another semester)
Extra curricular activity: member of Right to Life club, active member of campus ministry, member of Student Philanthropy Council, retreat leader and speaker all three years, freshman orientation leader (30 of us applied and only 6 were chosen), did one semester of student teaching (for a high school theology teacher), and was a mentor-in-faith two summers for theology camps/institutions.

I have not taken the GRE yet, but am not sure I will. I know one school I’ll be applying to (HDS) requires it, so obviously I will take it soon.

Schools I’m applying to (most likely):
Yale Divinity School
Duke Divinity School
Harvard Divinity School

Possible University of Notre Dame for their ECHO Program.

Please be brutally honest about my chances.

Thanks!

Check out grad cafe forum (similar to CC but just for grad program) for good info from others applying to similar program. D is at YDS and also got in Duke and Harvard (plus 2 others). She thought ND was most selective but I don’t know what echo is.
