There Is No Possible Way...

There is no possible way to predict chances. This is all just to comfort you and keep your mind at ease. Just a reminder. I've been rejected to most of the colleges I've applied to (the ones that were supposed match/safeties) so just a reminder, don't get to comfortable just because someone says you have a good chance of getting in places, because you might just be dissappointed when you find out the truth....it could go either way, I know, but still, keep your guards up, all of you.

people should also remeber not to get down on themselves, most of the people on this website are just kids like those of us asking what our chances are, and therefore have the authority and knowledge of a kid. think positive

i wouldnt take much on here THAT seriously unless somehow i knew it was from somebody obviously qualified to render such decisions

yeah, it so funny, on these boards, when ppl use to gauge chances is SAT scores solely, no one even reads the ECs

ppl told me i was only good for like 1-2 of my like 7-9 reaches

i got into 5 of them

see.....thats cool

people get so freakin negative on this board

or in my case, get a bit too positive. Admissions is a very random process, remember this. Of course this does not mean you can slack and expect to get in based on luck, but it does mean that there is a certain amount of luck involved. This site should never be taken literally.

urr only novices look at SAT scores.. i never do. i focus on EC's when doing evals on these forums, and even then, i'm extremely negative most of the time for HYPSM type schools.

Hm... so what if there was a guy with 1000 new SAT who cured cancer as an EC? Is that HYPSM material if you never look at SAT scores?!

410 new sat, who cured cancer is hypsm material.........
