Not specific to Tulane but plenty of this exists here:
-Parents that think their student was deferred or denied admission because they are “too good” for that school.
-Parents with EFC’s well above the full COA but that claim to have no means to contribute to their kid’s education and expect a 34-36 ACT to provide a full ride.
-Students who post their academic accomplishments and put their race or their sexual orientation as the first thing on the list.
-Students or parents of students with perfect stats asking the group to “chance me”. AKA bragging.
-People who take things like the admission portal loading slowly as a sign that they were accepted or denied even though decisions are still weeks away.
-Parents that spend weeks on here praying their child has a small chance of being admitted even though their stats are way below average, and then those same parents spending weeks on here cursing the school for not providing enough merit aid when they were lucky enough to be admitted.
I could go on and on, but these are some of the things that really make me laugh on CC.
