<p>Chemistry and Chem E are radically different! Be sure she checks on the chemistry labs for undergrads- she wants a place where the facilities are good and the department dynamic. She could change her major as most college freshmen will but she needs a place where she won’t be the only one in STEM around. Was a woman chemistry major back in the dinosaur age but with a top ten program… and other women although no professors back then.</p>
