Very true, but I know UPitt and UPenn have commented on how they liked it...
Those are in Penn...

this is true. my school is very reputable in PA and has a great rep with both pitt and penn state but it doesn't mean everyone from my school is a shoe in..wish it did though haha. my school is also very competetive..they stopped putting class rank on our transcripts because almost everyone has above a 3.6 it's crazy. i have a 3.5 and a horrible class rank. any other school and i'd be ranked higher most likely. so i see where you're coming from there

Haha thank you mkc and that is exactly why my school doesn't rank either

For someone who wants to go to UP and goes to a very competitive top private school (hardly gives A's) with an unweighted GPA of 3.4 and SATs of around 1800. What are the chances?

Applied Early October, still didnt hear back..

GPA is kind of low but I think your SATs are good enough to carry you through.

What is your weighted GPA?

What would a 92.1 average convert into on a 4.0 scale. My school only gives numerical averages.

I'm not sure what the exact conversion would be

In my school 90-93 is B+ which is 3.5..so I'd guess something around there.

3.68
