these people need a serious self-esteem boost

So the other day, I turned on the tv, arbitrarily chose a channel, and coincidentally, a show called "Beauty and the Geek" was on. It's bad enough that the part of the show's name is stereotyping smart people, but I'm just befuddled as to why any one would want to embarrass themselves like that. What is wrong with those people. In addition, those girls seemed awfully snobby. According to that show, anyone who is a member of mensa is a geek. Clumsy social skills, poor hygiene denote a "geek" in an urban dictionary, but intelligence does NOT =geekiness. the show is Stupid with a capital S.

I love watching it. Stereotyping members of society = hit show

it that show on WB......the reality shows are getting desperate these days...

also, i don't know about that show in particular, but for a show like Average Joe, they didnt tell the men that the point of the show is that they were ugly or weird or something, so they didnt realize what they were getting themselves into untill it was too late.

You don't have to watch TV for more than about a day before you realize that there are A LOT of people out there who will do almost anything to get on television.

why would any husband go on Oprah and talk aout beating his wife? why would parents sign their kids up for that super nanny show? idiots, all of them..

Dr. Phil's the worst. I doubt he really helps anyone, and he's pretty mean and isn't funny.

Jerry Springer is pretty bad too.......

Extreme Makeover and The Swan are the worst. You can't top those ones. It's like going on T.V. and publically announcing that you're ugly.

Yeah, but tons of free plastic surgery (to some) = awesome deal.
But the Swan is actually so funny because they cake makeup on the women before "The Big Reveal" to make them look even prettier. I can imagine how disappointed they get the next morning, after they've removed the makeup and realize they still look faily ugly + they've still got the amazed "I-look-so-beautifuuuulll" expression on their face they made the night before. Lol.
