Hi guys,

I'm an incoming frosh, lookin for some practical experience based advice. I am currently undeclared, but looking at Mass Communications as a major. Could someone tell me about Mass Communications 10, and whether it is a reading-based class, or a paper based class?

Also, how are lower division history classes at Cal (as one history class is required for the Mass Comm. major)?

I am thinking of Math 1A, Mass Comm. 10 as two classes for my first semester. Any other recommendations?

Thanks guys!!!

You might want to clarify what you mean by "paper based" vs "reading based." I think in paper based classes you write about what you're reading.

Oh sorry. By paper I meant, ESSAY...where most of the class grade is essays.

Anyone know anythinga about the Mass Comm. major at all?

you have to be a soph to take mass comm 10

Oh shoot. Well thanks bcp. Any recommendations on what to take frosh year (1st sem, mainly) if I'm going for a comm major?
