<p>I lived in Pakistan my whole life except for 3 years of education in America
so basically in Pakistan (since i m a girl) i didnt really get an opportunity to work or to do community work... there isnt really any opportunity for playing sports although i love.. so will they take that into consideration.. or am i just wasting my time :o</p>
<p>hahaha...which school you from in pakistan..im from LAHORE AMERICAN SCHOOl..regarding the competition in pakistan right now..it seems like no one will get any where but..trust me alot of ur acceptances depend on ur SAT...i have a 3.6 gpa 4 on all AP's and a 2300 SAT subject test composite and a 2100+ on my SAT...i dunno where ill get with that</p>

and on top of that doing A level i can say good bye to FSCE or watever rata(memorizing) system and getting admission in Paki corrupt universitiez</p>

<p>Like shoutkat55 said, it depends upon your SAT scores. The universities will understand the lack of extracurriculars if you just explain it in a letter you attach to the application.</p>
<p>I would think that universities will want to get to know more Pakistanis--and understand their culture. Their only concern, of course, is that you aren't tied in to some terrorist organization and coming here to recruit. (The fact that you are female will work in your favor in this regard).</p>

<p>well i know of just one guy who did SAT this year in my school and he didnt do Sat II. His score was like 2100+ but i dont think he is applying for top college... not many people from sialkot apply..i actually never heard of anyone applying or even knowing the name princeton, yale and stuff

<p>people from our school got into UPENN,columbia,duke,and all..and this year's senior class is amazing..like alot of people are going to apply to stanford,harvard,columbia,penn, and all those uni's..did u take ur SAT yet?</p>
