Hmm so just wondering, do you share a mailbox with your roommates or is it individual? Haha

You share a mailbox.

I lived in Fisher back in the day. Overall, I loved it there. You don’t have the air conditioning but there is a lot of spirit and tradition. If Ellie is still kicking give her a pet for me, but please wear gloves, God knows that dog never got bathed!

Is there air in Morrissey?

No AC in Morrissey. If you want to find a bit more about your hall you can go here: [Residence Life & Housing: Hall Profiles](http://orlh.nd.edu/halls/)

Thanks guys for the info on the residence halls. What about Dillon Hall?

Dillon’s pretty established and big, I went to the chapel there for mass when I visited in March.

any duncan highlanders? you’ll be one of the privileged few… let me know and i’ll help you out… fort duncan is the place to be

The floor plans are posted for every dorm except Ryan. Does anyone know when those plans will be up?

My guess is that Residence Life has simply forgotten to upload the floor plans on their website. If you look at the Ryan Hall profile you will find a lot of dated information from the 2008 fall semester that should probably be removed from the site. Maybe Res Life is just a little slow in updating these sorts of things.

hey BobbyC!
im gonna be a freshman at notre dame in duncan hall, and all i know is that the dorm is new hahhaah. hmmm what else is there to know about duncan?

yort, Private Message me… i can tell ya i was a little skeptical about being placed in Duncan (i wanted something with a lot of tradition- like Alumni) but I know everyone in Duncan is working hard to build our own tradition and it sure doesn’t suck having the best living accommodations on campus… but yeah, i’ll answer any other questions u have if u private message me

Are there any opinions on Keough?

i stayed in Keough for a night. it is a pretty good dorm and the rooms are a good size as well. it is also in a pretty convenient location as well.

I lived in Keough for two semesters. The hall spirit is awesome and the rooms are nice and spacious. It can sort of feel and look like a hotel after a while but it definitely has its charm. And as hawkswim said, you definitely are in a good location.

BobbyC
I’m an incoming Freshman and am up on the 3rd floor in Duncan. How large are the standard double rooms?

Also. How is the Duncan Soccer Team?

Anyone know anything about Carroll Hall? Just how far is it from central campus?

If you mean from Carroll to the Main Building, it is probably just under a ten minute walk.

walking from carroll to a football game will take a while…i suggest a bike

A bike will definitely come in handy on trips to the library, Jordan Hall, and DeBartolo Hall which is where most of your classes will be.
