I have applied to Brown for the RUE (Resumed Undergraduate Program). It is for working professionals who want to finish their degrees.
Anyway, The deadline is Feb 15th, which is about two weeks away. I called and talked to the Director of Admissions to see if they had received everything (packet, transcripts from H.S. and college, and recommendation letters). They told me they haven’t come across anything for me, as of yet.
I’m not sure what to do at this point. I told Brown that if I didn’t get admitted to the program, I wanted it to be because I am not qualified, NOT because they lost my materials.
They told me NOT to send in more materials. They said they always end up with 5-7 of the same forms from everybody who got nervous.
The director told me that they who sifting through 8,000 applications at the moment.
Man, I guess I’m going to have to sit on my hands for the next several weeks, keeping myself from sending in 10 more forms.
Any suggestions…?
