How do I know? because the check (application fee) I sent to them was dated as 11-30-2006. and they wrote the last 4 digits of my social on the check.

am I correct?

am I correct?

How do you know they wrote that?
Hmm I'm confused.
And they've already made decisions.

if you have a checking account you can view the deposited check online. If penn wrote on the check you'll see that when penn cashes the check because the teller scans it. how do you know they made decisions?

Oh, they scan it? I see.
I'm pretty sure they have because supposedly they're calling some guidance counselors this week with decisions. And plus, decisions come out next week, and they should have done that soon to get financial aid ready and everything.

I don't think they've made all of the decisions yet. The auto rejects have probably already been weeded out, but I highly doubt the committee is done presenting their case with borderlines. Someone earlier said they don't start making decisions until December 1st because that's when Novemeber SATs come out, but that's probably for people who wrote down that they have a November test date. I have no idea.

I guess they're not done with every decision, but I think they may be closing in on them~

they prolly havent made decisions yet cuz interviews were running until nov 30th...

Yep...the person I spoke to said they have not yet started (at least for my region) as they still need to get Nov scores. However, they should have received them Friday electronically from Collegeboard so it probably starts this week.

Kinda screwy when you imagine that somewhere in Philadelphia they are reviewing us.

I see... I just made the assumption because when I called them last week, the office said that all the regional reps were busy reading applications.

right but reading is different from deciding... each regional rep has to go over each application carefully and then present to the admissions committee, but I think admissions decisions this week definately...

oh ok...but still just a thought to consider
