Aren't decisions coming out in three weeks? The Check Credentials things has my online APP and my SAT/ACT scores, but not my transcript, recs, or essays sicne I was sending those on paper.

I know it says not to worry, but . . . !!!

Decisions come out in about a month, but don't worry, they will email you if you are missing anything.

Call the admissions office tomorrow and ask them to check to to see if they are in fact not in your file. If they are missing go to your HS counselor and teachers and get copies of all the missing documents, and have them sent to the admissions office- attention your admissions counselor -overnight, via certified mail. Email your admissions officer that they are coming so he will look out for them.

Actually, the admissions officers have specifically said not to call or resend anything. If you call, they're simply going to see if it's been processed yet or not. They'll be looking at the same thing you're looking at. Libby has said that she'll post something on the blog or the application when things should be resent if necesarry. Not everything has been processed yet, and they've said that resending things will only slow the process as a whole down.

Don't worry, if you're missing something, you'll have plenty of time to send it in.

I'm really concerned because none of my supplemental stuff is online, and the supplemental resume I attached is pretty crucial to my activities chart on the application. Basically, I'm not getting in without it.

My stuff supposedly isn't there either, but I know it made it to the right building at the very least, because I sent it return receipt.

Don't stress, guys. Chances are that it's there. Somewhere.

I'm in the same spot as the OP. I'm not worrying until they send me an e-mail.

Guys, really don't worry about having a missing credential... I know I flipped out last year when my science recommendation didn't show up and probably sent my admissions officer too many e-mails wondering where it was and what I could do about it. (Actually, it never got there... what happened to your letter, Mr. Daisley??). And I got in EA anyway.
Although two are requested, you only "need" one rec to be evaluated for admission, and i don't think anyone who has been evaluated on one recommendation would have gotten a different letter had the second rec been there.
They WILL e-mail you if you are missing something, with ample time to allow it to get there. The admissions office is probably going crazy with scanning right now, so be assured that things you sent are probably in a pile somewhere, and if something is legitimately lost they will contact you.

Oh, and if last year is any indication, the supplements are not noted on the online catalogue of what they have received... only the crucials.

Supplemental recommendations are listed on the check credentials site if you have sent one, or at least they did last year.

Well, they finally got my transcript, GC rec, Teacher Recs, and Sup Rec (so they do show up, ducktape).

Now they are only missing my essays. Which as WAY important. And were in the same envelope as what is listed above.

If they are not up by next week, I think I will call.

I figured everything would turn up eventually, but I made this thread to make sure.

Crap. I think I'm going to call next Monday if nothing's up yet. I really just want to get this done and over with by December, and they really need that supplemental material.

(sigh)

I think half of my stuff - even some essentials - never showed up there for me when I applied, but I confirmed that it all showed. Basically - ignore it.

I am really worried, it has been over three weeks since I sent my app in. All my required stuff is in, but my supplemental materials and my supplemental rec. (which is from a university professor and will be an essential part of the app.). They also don't seem to have the UW-Madison transcript I sent them with the courses I took their. I called and the lady refused to check in my file to see if things were there, so I called my adm. counselor and left a message and sent him an email.

What else can I do?

De-stress.

I don't think they've received/processed my supplemental stuff, either...

Guys, you are talking about supplements. They can't seem to find my ESSAYs! (I sent "under separate cover" so not with online app)

I gave them until today. . . Calling tomorrow!

Can you try to submit them online?

I just heard today that many college admissions offices actually have the credentials in your paper file, they just weren't logged in/scanned so they don't show up on the web sites. People working in the admissions office can't take the time to check, though, so they don't want calls/emails, etc. I think that's why they will contact you if/when they are truly missing something crucial.

^ But it is getting very late in the EA admission cycle to have a crucial part of an application missing.

Did anyone ever get a conclusive statement from admissions about multiple CB score reports and how they show up on the Credentials Checker? DS's SAT score report is posted, but not the two reports with subsequent SAT-IIs (I know, they aren't required, but...)

DS's supplemental stuff was in the same envelope as the essays (he sent hard copies) and the essays were processed 11/8. I am assuming that the supp stuff is there, just not logged in.

It is getting pretty late, but DS doesn't want to be a pest. May send an email to the adm counselor listing what was sent, and to please let us know if anything is missing. Even if she can't reply to us immediately, she'll know what SHOULD be there and can let us know when they start reading if it's not. We haven't had problems with any other school, so I am hoping that it's simply that the admin folks are overwhelmed and all will work out well.
