They're far fetched, but chances at Stanford?

Okay, I'm a high school junior (going to be a senior) with dreams of going to Stanford. I have a lot of other schools I'm applying to, but Stanford is the only reach school I'm trying for.

As of now, I have a GPA of 4.0/4.1
Top 10% of class
I took 2 AP classes last year and am taking 3 this year
I got a 32 on my ACT, but am taking it at least 1 more time.

EC's:
Student council: 9/10
School newspaper: 10/11/12 (I'm entering my second year as one of the section editors)
NHS: 11/12 (a committee member 12 grade)
Volunteer at hospital: 9/10/11/12 (250+ hours) This is my biggest thing. I volunteer 2 or 4 hours a week. I've been a supervisor for 1 year already and 1 more year (meaning I'm in charge of the other volunteers)
Mission trips to St. Louis, North Dakota, and Guatemala
Volunteer at church summer camp (avg. 7 days/summer): I've done this two summers
Involved in church youth group and various service projects (do colleges really look at involvement in religious groups/youth groups?)

I can't think of anything else. I'm not sure if I can get in because I'm a cookie cutter privileged girl with no special talent, like I didn't raise money for orphans or do work with Apple, but I like to think I've accomplished a lot in my volunteering job and with the newspaper.

Also, do you think I have a chance at UChicago? It's only on my reach list.

Well I can tell you this, you have a great GPA and a pretty decent ACT score so congrats on that! However, you haven’t taken many AP classes so it seems like you didn’t challenge yourself and you don’t seem to have some sort of passion. I still think you should apply but it’s a good reach.

“3 AP this year” in Junior? If so, how many more for Senior? For that part you don’t need to worry too much as it will depends on your school profile (e.g. number of AP classes offered and the average number of AP taken per student). Your ACT is a bit low for Stanford although within their mid 50 range. How is the break down of the score?
