Things I like/hate about UCLA

what kind of speeds do you usually get UCLARi?</p>

<p>UCLA uses a packet shaper which prioritizes speed of usage by importance. Don't worry, you're not about to get fuxxored and get dial up speeds, but I rarely got above 200kbs. That's fast, yes, but not what T3 should be. </p>

<p>I believe htpp requests are first and P2Pstuff are of lowest priority. FTP transfers are quite fast I believe and are of pretty high priority. </p>

<p>I'm guessing you could change the ports and that could speed it up since packeteer won't be catching those ports.</p>
