Once in a while I look around me and wonder who will cry if I die suddenly...:D

Here's what I always wonder...and I'm in college and still don't know these answers!!!

Do you have to eat or get your hair cut in heaven?

If you eye got poked out in this life, would it be waiting up in heaven with your wife?

Why does God cause things like tornadoes and train wrecks?

How does a duck know what direction south is?

And how to tell his wife from all the other ducks?

For some reason, I don't think being in college helps you know some of those mysteries. It's mostly just stuff we'll never know on Earth.

Snerry, I wonder the same too. Then I think about the people I know, but don't like. I see them at my funeral, acting upset as if they cared when I was here. Sorta morbid huh?

"Anyways, yeah philosophy classes discussing such would rock. But if you thought writing papers sucks, imagine doing formal logical proofs on it. Argh."

I like proofs :) And even a twelve-page paper can be enjoyable if it concerns an interesting topic.

Yeah I definitely wouldn't mind a 12 page paper about cause and effects. So long as the professor doesn't make me be extremely formal, and just lets me explain, and discover, my thoughts

"You guys should read my post here... I'd type a bunch of stuff to you about the real reason religion evolved and is proliferating in our culture today but I'm too damn tired.... so go here...."

Haha astrife there were like ten different people totally repudiating your argument on that thread. I am also agnostic but would have a tendency to agree with those who were pointing out the flaws in your reasoning, which wasn't much to begin with.
I'm not trying to single out/insult you and I don't want to start an irrelevant science v. religion debate, I just think it's funny you linked that thread when you basically got owned on it.

It is funny, but they gave it to him after he posted the link.

mactech, ducks dont get married!

i was so confused by it as well...

Somtimes I wonder....

What would I do if I were a ghost?

stupid, I know.

How many of you guys have thought about the "color" question?

"How many of you guys have thought about the "color" question?"

I have thought of it before. It's amazing that so many people here have thought of the exact same question.

Haha, have you read The Woman Warrior by Maxine Kingston? She calls all whites ghosts (it took us forever to figure that out). So...I guess I am a ghost! :D

I think it's like around 10 people here have said something about it.

Mac,

I'm guessing a duck, like other migratory birds, is able to detect the earth's magnetic field, and therefore can travel in the direction of south (which is actually what we call the "north" pole of a magnet).

i wonder if my life is a dream or if my dream is my actual life or neither.

the color question drives me crazy!! it's so hard to explain to people... i feel so... understood, now that i know others have actually thought of that. i sit there trying to figure out a way to tell if we all see the same colors, but it's impossible, because we've grown up knowing that the sky is blue... but what if it isn't?

everyone on CC has all these interesting and deep questions that they wonder... it makes my original mirror question seem so stupid lol. btw i still dont know the answer... so this thread hath not served its purpose
lol

how would dyslexic ppl be affected if there was no such ting as writing?

i htink it is dbl....cuz of eyes refocusing when u look at wall next to it...and then to u on mirror.

I think it is double too by the way... because if you look at a spot on the mirror you have to change focus.

What I don't get about mirrors is how if you have two people, looking at it from different angles, you will see entirely different images reflected... I don't know how to describe it, but yeah, thinking about things like that makes my head hurt.
