<p>Does anyone know if it is necessary (or useful) to bring the following items to Hopkins if one is dorming there (or if the items are already provided)? </p>

potpourri / lysol / rubbing alcohol
laundry detergent</p>

<p>It's certainly not necessary to bring things like paper towels and tissues. You can find all of those things listed at any nearby convenience store.</p>
<p>The dorms provide you with toilet paper every week - the supply is usually sufficient, although a spare roll or two is helpful on emergency situations :) But you can always buy those items at local stores rather than bring them over.</p>
<p>I bought all of those things after I got to Baltimore - after I moved in, my parents and I went to Target for all the little things that we didn't bring from home like laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, a fridge, some storage stuff, etc</p>
