<p>So, I'm wondering what kind of things Berkeley students do for fun! What are some cool places to visit, things to do etc?</p>
<p>Basically, what do Cal kids do when they are not studying? How's the overall social life on campus? </p>

<p>Depends on the student. Frankly, many students just play computer games like Dota or WoW or they play Super Smash Bros(you'd be amazed at how popular that is at Berkeley). There's a theater on Shattuck which is quite popular, and on-campus screenings every now and then. There are always frats and parties for those who are interested, and many students are in bible study groups or dance groups or other organizations. There are also on-campus concerts every now and then.</p>
<p>The social life tends to be pretty cliqueish at times, but overall I'd say it's decent.</p>

<p>there's also clubs, kicking it with friends outside, smoking hooka, smoking grass, going out to the city, parties @ frats, kick backs, meeting new people, going to political things, talking, and generally finding fun s.h.1.t to do</p>

<p>If you don't know anyone and you want to go to the City to hang out, is there a way to hit up people to go other than just should down the hallway of a dorm? I mean, I'm wondering if there's a bulletin board or something or is that just something for rides. And how late does BART run?</p>
