My orientation is on Friday. As far as I know we'll be choosing our classes and doing activities. Other than what my university recommends, are there are any specific things I should do to get more out of orientation?

Is there any way you could browse a course catalog so you have an idea of the courses you want to sign up for?

Also, looking through the school’s website and noting anny questions you have might be helpful, because then you’ll be able to get answers right away at orientation.

Meet people.
