<p>I've recently just noticed that my schedule was arranged in a way so that all my classes would be 1 hour apart from each other. If I choose not to walk back and forth, up and down the hill, what options are there to make use of the free time without being late for the next class? I would rather not sit in hallway of the next classes' lecture room 40 minutes early.</p>
<p>I'm planning on going to one of the libraries and doing some reading/studying.</p>
<p>eat. sleep in the library. hang out at ackerman.</p>
<p>in other words...there's not much you can do.</p>
<p>i have nearly 2 hour breaks between my classes. today i ate and studied. it went by quick.</p>
<p>well, there's not gonna be a clown or carnival games lol. it's a university. i would try and get some reading done.</p>

<p>I used to have breaks just so that I'd have an hour or so to prepare for tests in specific classes (like Japanese...man those were some awful cram sessions.)</p>
<p>However, I do think that an hour break can be spent productively. If you have administrative issues to take care of, it's a great time to go down to Murphy Hall or something like that. </p>
<p>But, don't underestimate the reading you can get done if you use an hour every day while on campus. </p>
<p>Or, like flopsy said, go be entertained by the protestors. Viva la revolucion!</p>
<p>Personally, I'd use my 1-hour break to watch the strange guy with the bible harass people.</p>

<p>Well, to be honest, I used to avoid Bruin Walk, so I'm a bit less "versed" on the crazies. I do remember the Jew-for-Jesus-ish guy who was calling all the women awful names.</p>
<p>LOL I saw him yesterday come up to an Asian girl and ask her, "how are you doing today, darling, because being gorgeous?" and she got really freaked out and started running away. I think she was an international though, so maybe she wasn't understanding him, but I thought it was freakin hilarious.</p>

<p>Wooden is a decent place to go if you have an hour break, especially if its early in the morning with less people around.</p>
