My Dad and I are flying in for the Explore USC session this Thurs+Fri, but we don't leave until Sunday afternoon. Any suggestions on what we could do, see?

hot girls?

Go to Venice Beach in Santa Monica; walk up Third Street Promenade. The weather is beautiful right now (in the 80's). Hopefully it will stay that way.

Go to the beach. Go to Manhattan Beach, straight down Manhattan Beach Blvd. out onto the pier, walk along the strand. Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe at the Ahmanson. Disneyland, Venice Beach, Hollywood and Highland

go to Universal Studios and Disneyland. Visit West Hollywood and have lunch on sunset boulevard it's soo nice there. Definitely go to the beach, we have really nice warm weather now. Santa Monica Pier is alright, lots to do there... um there's always plenty of museums to visit too...

There are some really great museums just south of USC. The California Science Center has an exhibit about Star Wars, with props and costumes. (And - it's free.)

A Saturday night drive down Sunset Boulevard will likely be an eye-opening experience.

And - if you have a car - go to an In-and-Out Burger.

oh my gosh! yess In n' Out is amazing lol, my guy friends would suggest having a 4x4 animal style (make sure you're hungry!)

yesss if you havnt had in n' out you realllly need to go...boo I gave up fast food for lent, haven't had in n' out in like two weeks...

i didn't give up anything for lent haha i'm a rebel

i do lent too! i'm not christian though. haha i just thinnk it's good for you.

oh and i like laguna the best out of all the beaches.

sooo nice.

how far is laguna beach from usc???

Laguna Beach is about 1 hour from USC- if no traffic. Nice main beach; also great place to walk around and shop!

Yeah Laguna is a nice small beach community, but it is at least an hour from USC. If you're going to make the drive, be forewarned that the actual strip of public beach off PCH is fairly small and parking can be a pain. Newport and Huntington to the north are nice as well. You can't beat Santa Monica and the Promenade there - much closer to USC. This is much more commercialized than beach communities in OC though.
