Things to Do in the Boston Area?

So I'm going to be in Boston for a week for family vacation.
Is there anything you guys suggest that I see/eat/shop at? Thanks!! :)

There ya go! That link should be very helpful and answer everything :)

QUINCY’S MARKET!

It’s awesome for shopping. And eating, for that matter.

shopping! ^there’s lots of shopping in quincy market, newbury street or harvard square in cambridge, copley place mall

Prudential building
Freedom Trail
Harvard Square
Little Italy (awesome bakeries)
Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum
Quincy’s Market
Boston Duck tours

I was once in Cambridge for 24 hours when I didn’t want to be. I took the T to MIT twice, the first time to have a Taco, the second time to get a shirt.
Harvard Square has so many things to do.
I highly recommend Burdick’s for hot chocolate. When one of my friends was accepted to Harvard, her (Harvard student) sister said “Now we can go to Burdick’s together!!!” rather than “Congratulations.” It’s that good.
There’s a froyo place, next to a very similar-looking caf

if you’re in Cambridge, check out [The Garage](http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-garage-cambridge). Tons of cool, quirky stores.

Yes I really want to go to Harvard Square but I have no idea what it’s going to be like since it’s the 4th of July and all.

p.s. I went to Quincy’s Market today. It was super crowded but it is the 4th of July. ;D Very cute place.

I found the Freedom Trail to be very fun (walked it in 5th grade, took maybe 3 hours). Try the Museum of Fine Art. I HIGHLY recommend it. Maybe get tickets to Fenway Park? Baseball’s still in season. Besides that…there’s not much to do in Boston (except more historical stuff). If you’re up for it, you could try to spend a day on the Cape. I personally think Falmouth and Sandwich have the best beaches. Just be warned of the EXTREME traffic.

^yeah, walking’s better.

Love Boston/Cambridge :]!!

Boston Duck tours

I just got back from Boston. This is the ONE thing to NOT do. Instead of the boston duck tours, take the Oldtown trolley tour buses. The latter is much better, allowing you to see more of boston.

@Fresh101

I did the trolley tours today!!! I thought it was going to be some sort of ripoff but it wasn’t and it was well worth the money because my tickets are valid for two days instead of one. I’m planning to take the trolley into Cambridge tomorrow hopefully.

None of you noobs have mentioned Fenway Park, even though I’m a Yankee Fan >_>.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay so we saw everything today. We went on the Harbor cruise, which i thought was going to be a rip off was actually pretty good. We saw MIT too, which by the way, is soooo congested. Yuck! I have family at Harvard so that was a little bit better because we got to see the inside dorms, cafeteria, etc. Harvard is so nice. My cousins were there for the Harvard SSP. So i pretty much saw everything at harvard.lol It was a good college visit.
