I was offered 2 loans and i planned to accept them so i have to do a bunch of requirements. However, after i completed the promissory note online and submitted, the reminder is not taken off the list yet, so do i have to wait untill they process it? And also those 4 loan forms that i had to fill out and send to the finaid office, do i have to wait untill they get so that they will take the reminders off of my list? Anyone who knows more about this please let me know. thank you.

My suggestion would be to e-mail the financial aid office. If you provide your full name and your student I.D. number, they can pull up your data and they can tell you if something went wrong with your request...

yea, i was wondering the same thing so i emailed them and they told me that they won't review the promissory note til july but as long as you accepted your loans and completed the requirements, you're fine. as for the 4 documents, i sent mine in a couple of weeks ago and they still have not yet updated my efan, again they told me that it can take a while so just keep checking it

If you call the financial aid department, part of the initial recorded message is that they're not going to start processing all that stuff until the beginning of July...

That seems kind of pointless to me seeing as you won't know whether you've completed all the requirements until long after the deadline.

^Thanks for the info. bandislife.

All the documents that they asked me to send in was received because all the smiley faces turned yellow. Except only the smiley of the direct loan master promissory note which I filled out online and submitted was still frowning and red. Does this mean that I somehow didn't complete it or they have not process them yet? I received the summary of the promissory note I requested them to send to me in the mail so I must have completed it. Can anyone help me?

I think it means they just haven't processed it yet because mine is the exact same way and I did fill out the direct loan master promissory note too.
