Things to do on campus?

Hello, I am thinking about applying early decision to Tufts and was wondering whether there is enough to do on campus (without needing to go into Boston to have a good time). I have heard from some people that there is not much to do, but I have a feeling it is somewhat of a myth. Also, is the campus big enough so that it actually feels intimate and secluded from the city in its own little area? I really want a city near me but the feeling of being in a suburban town/peaceful campus. I did visit Tufts over spring break this year, but the campus was closed. I walked around the campus and it seemed nice, just a little small (although I did not go on a proper tour so I don't know I saw it all). If someone could just respond to this post about their experiences at Tufts, or what they know about the school, let me know. Thanks.

Tufts is close enough to downtown Boston for it to still have the city feel yet it's just the distance far away so as to give you a secluded feel. It has the right mix to it in terms of city/suburb location.
Yeah, if you didn't take the official tour or if you didn'thave someone who knows tufts guide you, you might be tempted to think that tufts is pretty small. the campus stretches out in all directions and extends well beyond the main academic quad.
also, the medical/vet/biomed eng schools are in downtown boston. the medford campus is undergrad plus fletcher school only.
there is also enough to do on campus if you know how to find things. if you check event happenings regularly, you will always find things to do. most people don't really leave campus unless it is to eat out or to go clubbing occassionally.

tuftslife.com lists most activities happening on campus.

yeah but right now it won't say anything. I <3 tuftslife though, it's my homepage :)

When I first came to visit Tufts it was during the summer and I DEFINITELY thought it was much smaller than I now know it to be. I would absolutely say that it feels like its own, safe, peaceful suburban campus, but I also do consider Boston just an extension of the campus at times, because it's just SO easy to reach, only a few minutes on the T.
