Things to Pack for Boarding School....

i'm pretty sure exeter doesn't allow microwaves; each dorm should have a microwave in the common room. they will send you a list of things to / not to bring (such as fire hazards) in the e-book this summer. fridges are technically not allowed, but hint - there is an alternative besides using the dorm fridge (which i'm not too much in favor of using, since there have been incidents where food was stolen): get a cooler for your room. they can store anything except frozen things, and it doesn't use up a lot of power.

also, putting a small erasable board on your door has proved to be extremely useful (so others can leave you messages, or you can leave messages for visitors). some doors in my dorm came equipped with boards already, and mine happened to be one of them =)~ very handy!

again, best of luck, and congratulations to you all again!

bumpety bump bump... I just want more advice on what to bring. ;D

thank you very much. but i wonder as for me, an international student, what else should i bring?

Clippers for boys
Hair stuff for girls

At every school we visited, I asked them how do boys go about getting haircuts. Some schools have a barber that comes on campus, while others have mentioned that other students occasionally cut hair.
