What are things you love/hate about South Carolina? Are there any deal breakers you’ve found?
Who loves walking to class at 95 degrees at 88% humidity? Not fun in September. However those 70 degree days in the typical winter months are fabulous! My Midwest daughter never wants to live in a Northern clime again.
Daughter loves everything about it I think. Only complaint I’ve heard is her trying to figure out the Study Abroad situation, which might be user-error
I hope your DD has actually gone to the Study Abroad office. I think my DD finally understands that an in person visit can trump trying to find out all the hidden details via on line blurbs. She nearly didn’t get to go to Germany because we read the deadline for application was in end of February. That was technically true – but the department really wanted all students to apply by mid-December for their program. Then we missed out on funding for her flight because she didn’t apply as she missed the published deadline. That was technically true – but after we bought her ticket she discovered she could have at least asked if all the funds had been allocated because the office continued to award transportation money until it ran out.
