<p>Hows it going everyone?
I am in the process of applying to schools and I have 4 schools in mind. I would like to apply to Stony Brook, University at Buffalo, New Paltz, and Geneseo. I plan on transffering into bio, Taking per med classes in the mean time. I have been going to Hudson Valley Community College for 3 semesters (on my fourth) and have a 2.9 GPA. I screwed up the first two semesters but I am on track now. I know I will end this semester with at least a 3.5 GPA. Does it make sense to apply to these schools? Would I instantly be denied? any help would be very appreciated. I have a decent list of extra-curriculuar activities as well. If no chance in these schools, what are some other schools that I would have a better chance at? Thanks a lot guys.</p>
<p>You will be fine for those schools if you end with a 3.5.</p>
<p>If your overall GPA is a 3.5 you will be fine. If your semester GPA is a 3.5 but your overall GPA is 3.2 then it is " iffy" but possible.</p>
<p>Have you considered Oswego?</p>
