Remember, I'll chance back. I think I'm missing some small ECs and I have some non-major but non-trivial awards too.

You’ll definitely get in to at least one. Awesome SAT, GPA, even EC’s through the roof. Just make sure u have solid essays. Their are plenty of kids like u and the essay is where they get separated

Chance me?

Thanks. I’m just getting worried and, as sad and reprehensible as it sounds, need a confidence booster.

You really don’t need to worry. Along with your grades and test scores, you have a lengthy list of extracurricular work.

I have heard a lot about how UChicago is big on the essay portion of the application, so i would suggest putting as much time into it as possible.

Other than writing a solid essay and keeping the grades up, you’re pretty much set from the looks of it! Good luck! (Though you won’t need it)

chance me?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1535511-community-college-transfer-chance-me.html</a></p>

Another day another bump. And it seems that I will need to put some extra work into my essay, so I’ll definitely try to make it pop.

I was thinking about writing about this time by brother had a really bad disease when I was a freshman and almost died, and how that sparked my interest in chemistry and biology. Is that too much of a sob story or too common of an essay topic? It definitely is true, but I have other things I could write about too, I suppose.

Although the story may be true, it is very clich

Dude, you’re perfect i’d say you get into MIT if you can write good essays. Same with Stanford. Harvard isn’t as predictable. Stanford isn’t as incredibly hard to get into as most people think though because one must realize it IS in Cali. and Cali has a ton of kids.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1533018-chance-me-please-i-chance-back.html</a> please :D

I’d say you have a decent chance in most of the ‘reach’ schools. You’ll really have to work at the essay though as someone else said even though your ECs are pretty decent.

Thanks d00ds. Sorry for exposing everybody to my insecurities; I feel more confident now.
