<p>Can't really say if you'll get in or not but I would think that the admissions people will wonder why you didn't apply directly to Tisch. NYU does not have a 'theatre arts' program, so to speak. They have drama, and of course, dramatic writing. The thing is, anyone who is not in Tisch is only able to take the open arts curriculum course offerings which really aren't anything at all like what the majors take. You could apply to Tisch and minor in history or some other subject in CAS. </p>
<p>Your gpa is good and if you took the most rigorous curriculum which your school offered, you should be ok. Your SATs are low, below the middle 50% which will be a problem. Any reason you didn't retake them? You might be better off retaking and applying Regular Decision. Just a thought.</p>
