How is undergraduate math/physics at Yale compared to the same concentration at Princeton? I got into both and can't decide between the two schools.

Both are very good, but I would visit each for 2-3 days, talk with as many students and faculty as possible, and make the decision for yourself. You won't be able to get a good picture from any of the information you see on this thread.

Princeton is stronger than Yale in mathematics.

Princeton is widely considered the BEST for undergrad mathematics. Certainly there are competitors (MIT, Harvard, Chicago, and Caltech come to mind), but Princeton trumps Yale in this department easily, imo. The same for physics as well.

Princeton is clearly better than Yale in math and physics. Princeton mathematics department is #1 in US, and in the world. Princeton physics department is among the best,, along with Berkeley, Caletech, MIT, Harvard, and Stanford. Yale is still a top 10, but clearly not top 5.

For undergraduate math/physics, Yale is just as strong if not stronger.

they're both very strong, but pton might be a little better. Like someone else said, visit for a few days at each. At this point (since both are v. good) it's more about fit than quality of program.
