Hi guys
I am thinking about running start seriously cuz I have overflowing credits (it happened somehow). My final objective of my long studying journey is to get into a med school.
Right now I'm a sophomore with a GPA of 3.837, (taking ap world history, ap calculus ab, and honors english).
I really want to do running start and get into UW as a junior and head straight to the med school but there is one thing that's bugging me.
"What if I don't make it to the UW??? cuz if I don't, I really have no choice since my parents are not fond of any other state colleges in Washington (and neither am I)"

So yeah... what do you think?

and also, is there a possibility to go out of state if I want to even by doing running start?

Hey, I’m a Sophomore in the same boat (deciding whether to take RS next year). Anyone else got info? I’ve been told UW is very well with RS students and accepting DTA degrees from community colleges, and also that a lot of out of colleges in different states don’t see programs like Running Start, and don’t accept credits from CC in Washington state. But I’ll bet they’ll take an interest in RS students since the program is so unique.

That’s awesome that you’re taking AP Calc ab as a Sophomore. How have you liked the class? I’m deciding on whether to still take AP math at the school while taking 15 credits at the college next year, since I’m taking mostly average classes like Spanish and History for the first year. The AP Calc class taught at my school is a flip class, so that’s cool, and I’ve heard math at the college can the most challenging out of any subjects (besides analytical geniuses).
Would you suggest for me to take AP Calculus AB at the high school Junior year while taking 15 credits (each quarter) at the college? Too challenging?
