Thinking about STEM except no STEM EC's

Hi so I’m going to be a junior in this coming school year and I’m thinking about majoring in science because I wanna major in the medical field. The problem is I don’t really have any STEM-related extracurriculars. I’m on a nationally competitive synchronized ice skating team. I’m also heavily involved in music; I’m the vice president for a student founded organization that teaches music to children, and a member of the pre-college program in a well-known orchestra program in San Diego. I also decided to participate in spoken word/poetry and became the president for that club. Yet before I started spoken word/poetry, I had participated in policy debate and academic team, both activities which I quit because I didn’t think I would have time for them, especially with skating and flute (but I’m thinking about rejoining academic team.) My grades are alright, but I come from a really competitive high school where so many kids get stellar grades and so many kids do impressive extracurriculars. Would not having STEM activities hurt my chances of getting into top tier schools for STEM?

No. In fact, your ECs are interesting, obviously demanding, and differentiate you from the pack. Keep doing what your doing and don’t bother looking over your shoulder at what other people are doing.
