Thinking about transfering

I'm currently attending Rider University and will be a sophmore this year. I'm a good student and finished my freshman year with a 3.15 GPA majoring in multimedia web design. First semester freshman year was pretty good but second semester wasn't. I learned a lot of my friends I made in a summer program and at orientation were transfering after the spring semester and things just seemed be dull. Also campus life was really Bad people go home every weekend and it was hardto get toparties off campus overall what im paying doesnt add up to the lackof campus life. I've been going back and forth about transfering and now at the end of summer I think I really want to transfer. I'm really looking into Stockton and majoring in communications studies with a minor in their digital media program. My major question is should I transfer for spring semester or wait till next year and apply for fall 2013. I want to know what would be easier and hear personal experiences. Thanks in advance

If you are miserable, and you think you are wasting your money, there is nothing wrong with taking time off while you consider your options. Pick up the phone on Monday, and call and ask about arranging a leave of absence for a semester or year. Then pick up the phone, call Stockton, and find out what you would need to do in order to apply for second semester. Who knows, they might even have space for you for this fall!

I’m not miserable to the point I would take a semester off that’s not even an option in my opinion I man question was should I transfer for spring semester or wait until fall 2013 also how soon would I have to make a decision so that my financial aid isn’t affected the deadline for spring transfer is Dec. 1st for Stockton
