thinking about transferring to SUNY Bing or Geneseo

<p>Hi! I'm currently a freshman at CUNY Hunter College and I'm thinking of applying as a sophomore transfer to Binghamton and/or Geneseo. I applied to Bing as a freshman applicant and got waitlisted unfortunately. I want to be a biology major, so feedback about the bio programs at both schools would be great! chancing would be great too</p>

<p>Before I talk about my stats, a question. Both colleges state that if I have over 24 credits, I don't need to send in my high school transcript -- right now I have 27.5 credits from my fall semester and AP credits that I got from high school. Do the AP credits count towards this 24 credit thing?</p>

<p>College stats:
Fall Semester: 3.933 GPA (biology, chem, political science, philogy)
Spring semester: biology 2, chem 2, english, music</p>

<p>HS stats:
GPA: 91 UW
Ranked 28 out of ~450
SAT: 1790/2400, 1220/1600
Activities: pres of environmental club, peer support help, marching band, newspaper</p>

<p>Two more questions, should I send my SAT scores? What about my hs activities, do those even count anymore for my resume?</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance of getting into both schools.</p>

<p>Geneseo I feel is the better choice for the Sciences. Your College GPA is great. I don’t think you need to send the SAT score. Good luck!!!</p>
