<p>I have been accepted to the Computer Sciences department at the College of Sciences at Purdue, but would really want to keep it for last. Thus, considering my other options in India, I would like to request them for a deferral of one year.</p>
<p>I thought that it would be better if I did some research before sending a formal request, so I'd like to know how easy (or difficult) it is to obtain a deferral for one year.</p>
