best in business right?? well since im so dedicated, i just bought a T43 to improve my professional appearance (and the stupid leather executive case!!!)

anyway, ive been reading that there are lots of like, usual things you do to optomize the laptop, so can someone give me some step-by-step instructions?? for example, burning recovery disks or something?? yeah, im pretty clueless!!

thanks everyone

ps, another primary reason for my purchase was to support LENOVO!!~~~

why do you want to support Lenovo?

i have a t43 too. defragment your computer as soon as you're done installing any software. Follow the Access IBM instructions to making a recovery disk after this is done.Access IBM is really good, it'll guide you right through it.

cuz its Chinese, lol

and so am I

ps, thanks

lol thats some pretty stupid reasoning

well my 3,000 machine after no where just shut down and the battery or power light doesn't light up anymore, and the computer cannot be turned on PERIOD. The ibm tech ppl after running some tests w. the battery said that most likely my mother board was fried (they of course are fixing it).

hey sorry to hear that happened. the computers are usually pretty good (at least traditionally they were, nobody really knows how Lenovo will turn out to be). Glad to hear they're fixing it though. When does the warranty expire?

3-4 year

what does a motherboard cost?
