Thinkpad T series vs. X series

I'm looking at the lenovo thinkpads and I like the fact that the X series is really portable because I'm 5's, but I feel that I'm sacraficing screen and keyboard size. I have an old 15' IBM Thinkpad at home that I use as a desktop, so should I just go ahead and get the X series and then buy a LCD, or does the T series have other, extra features?

Wow that's a really big laptop--I'd use it as a theater screen, not a desktop. =p

(I think you mean 15".)

The X series ones are very portable, but they're tiny; you need a bay for them also (for a CD drive, etc.). So I'd really recommend going for a T series laptop. Go for the 14" -- it's not terribly tiny like the X ones, but not large like the 15" ones. Plus, the T series ones are on sale right now for an awesome price.

Come on, that's Gizmodo. I stopped listening to anything they said after the TV B-gone incident at CES. Besides, even their site has the story tagged as "unconfirmed".
