Thinks I choose the wrong major.

Im currently majoring in Web/Graphic Design. Filling out my college application, I assumed that this was the best major for me considering that i was always on the computer and that its constantly a demanding field.

However, I'm find myself extremely bored in this major. It doesn't excite me, nor grabs my full attention and because of this, I seem to get side-tracked a lot. So much, that I've been put on academic probation. So I know I need to do something and NOW.

I've considered Computer Engineering but unfortunately, I'm weak in Math.
I've would love to be an OB/GYN and deliver babies. Unfortunately, I'm weak in Science.

I love to be active, and do physical things. How can I put that towards a career? A money-making one at that!

PLEASE HELP!

I don’t know much about this kind of stuff but I thought that I would reply because I know how it feels when you want answers!

Anyways, I would definately switch your major if you’re not satisfied. Think about it, this is the major you’ll be stuck with your whole life, if you don’t go graduate school. THEREFORE, switch!

Since you’re in to computers and almost every career deals with computers, having a major in something like web/graphic design, MIGHT be looked at as an extra skill? I don’t know.

Maybe you could start a website, blog, and do it on the side?

I personally think you should major in your second interest and use the computer skills on the side.

its ok for some psycho odd reason i had a epiphany that i would teach little kids and that brought me on academic probation…lol(i know its bad but Education= really hard at my school and a really hard teacher was teching and i hated it)
