Third time?

I asked this question in my "math.." thread, but I thought it deserved its own. On the January sat I scored a 2200(800 cr, 680 m, 720 w), on the march one I scored a 2180(780 cr, 700 m, 700 w). I took a couple mocks in between and I was consistently scoring in the 750+ range on the math sections. Should I take it a third time? I'm really aiming for the top schools, and I feel that my math score is a bit low for them. Thanks in advance

Anybody have any input?

You have a super score of 2220 right now which is pretty good (~98-99%). You may re-take it if you want, but having 50 points or slightly more (by the gap in math) does not change the total score too much. In contrast, you have a great potential to get 700+ in Math2 of SAT2 and getting 800 is not that hard (~11% student do). That may be more helpful for school applications.
