Third Time's the Charm?

Ok, so my goal was a 34 on the ACT. The first time I got a 32, and this time only raised my grade one measly point - 33. Should I take it again or just call it quits?

Hmm…I take it your a junior. I think that if you take it in October with prep you could get your goal of a 34. Thats just my opinion though.

yup 3rd times the charm for me.. got a 21, 23, 29 :)

fourth time was charm for me, but who knows.. that trend you have looks good for you

mine was this:

30, 30, 31, 34

33,34,34 for me

johnny that was a significant jump!
was the last test the easiest for you
or did you do a lot of prepping

i had your exact situation … 32 .. 33 .. 34. Took it again today (35 .. I think!)

24, 26, 29 for me. On the last date, I raised my Reading and Science scores by a lot, but because I never really studied for math, it stayed the same. If I retook it, I probably could have raised my score a bit by working on Math, but the rest most likely wouldn’t have changed. Only retake the ACT if you feel that you could have done better–not merely to get a higher score. I highly doubt that raising your ACT score by a single point to 34 will raise your admission chances.
