Third Year Undergrad looking to break into Sales and Trading/IB

Quick back story: I'm aware my GPA is on the "low-end" for a banking career, but I've really picked myself up since a dismal freshman year performance. I really believe I have the knowledge to excel in the field, all I need is the opportunity. So what do you guys think? My schools FA program is actually quite good (I know it's a little hard to believe for a mid/large state school compared to private targets). It's a selective 2 year program that accepts roughly 20-25 juniors. They aggressively send out resumes to big banks and the alumni who have graduated the program (and the b-school in general) to try and recruit our class. They also send it out to professor connections and pretty much anyone that pops in their mind (I have a list of nearly 300 companies that are receiving the "resume book"). Placements these past couple of years have seen students put into UBS, Goldman, Morgan Stanley, prop firms, BB, HF.

My main point is, how does my resume compare to other students nationwide and internationally? Also, would you recommend double majoring with econ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the suggestions.
