<p>I think this college discussion area should have a part where average students can talk to each other. Every time I'm looking for help on colleges for average students all I find is information about getting into Harvard, Yale, princeton, etc. I'm not mad or anything but its just a little frustrating.</p>

<p>That's because sometimes parents care a LOT more about their kids' educations than the kids do. Which in itself is sad.</p>
<p>Start your own website for average kids looking for colleges!!!! but make it the COOLEST website for average kids looking for colleges. Like have links to info that 17 year olds really want to know. That will look great on your resume and you won't be average anymore.</p>
<p>^Bad idea. You're not going to find many average kids looking for a site just for them. CC will be the first hit and they'll get sucked in just like the rest of us have! Even if there was a "Mid-Range Achievers" forum on here, there would still be a ton of ivy-league-2400-straight-5s-on-20-APs jerks to tell the average people that they're not worthy.</p>
<p>I see how you feel though. But I've discovered there is more to CC than just the get-into-the-ivies rush. Check out the forums for the non-ivies and you'll find more average people. A lot of the non-academic forums also tend to have a bit less OMGivies-intensive people, or at least there is more to talk about than just school.</p>
