<p>Hi, I'm a current junior who is looking at majoring in English or History. I hope to eventually pursue a degree in law. I have tours at SUNY New Paltz and SUNY Albany this weekend, and I was wondering what my chances are at either. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated!</p>

<p>My unweighted GPA is about a 91 and it is a 94 weighted. All of my electives are history based. [i.e. Multiculturalism, Geography, European History through Film]</p>

Youth Group: 4 years
Head Literary Editor of my school's magazine: 2 years
Mock Trial: 2 years
NHS: 2 years

Writing for the local newspaper: 2 years

Leadership Camp at Hamilton College during summer 2009</p>

<p>I got a 540 on the Math Section of the SATS and a 740 on the Critical Reading Section, putting me at about a 1280 without the writing section. With the writing section, my SAT score is 1980. I'm going to take the SATS again in June to bring up my math score.</p>

<p>I will be taking the ACTs in June.</p>

<p>Rank: I am in the top 11% of my school. [If only it was the top 10%! Oh well.] I believe I am 81 out of about 800 students.</p>

<p>I'm sure my recommendations will be fantastic, and writing essays is my forte. I also will not be applying for financial aid.</p>

<p>Umm your going to apply for those schools? Bro, you’d definetely get into both those schools. Your underachieving, you can definetely get into better schools. Wana go to a good SUNY, think about Stony Brook University, its in the top 100 schools in the nation.</p>

<p>You’re in at every SUNY, aside from maybe Binghamton (who got ultra picky this year). I’d even say you’re in at Bing though. Good marks :]</p>
