<p>its not the federal government's right at all, in my opinion, to interfere with marriage/union disagreements in the states. I believe that is a state's right issue. i agree exactly with alukaszewicz, that unions are a RIGHT that everybody deserves as protected under the Constitution, and that calling something a marriage is up to each religious institution to decide individually. I def disagree with the President in his opinion that the government has any right to deny people their guaranteed rights because they are homosexual. The Constitution doesn't say anywhere that the Federal government has the right to pick and chose who gets what rights. I don't think that anystate has the right to deny people their rights either...
the problem is that this government has confused the concept of morals with the concept of ethics. but thats a topic for another day....</p>
