This is bugging me really really bad.

Hi guys, this is my first post so I'm sorry if I'm making any forum faux pas. I just recently submitted my common application essay. I had read it over dozens of times but for some reason my parents and I managed to miss a glaring error! I forgot to indent one of my paragraphs! How bad will this look to the colleges? More specifically to Pomona since I applied there early decision. If it helps determine anything my SAT is 780M 730R and 680W and I have a 3.5 GPA with a rank in the 17th percentile, with many extracurriculars including around 5 leadership positions. Do you guys think I should create a new common app file for the 4 other schools on the list?

If Pomona is going to accept someone, I doubt that a missing paragraph indentation is going to make them pause, rethink, and change their minds.

Don't worry about it. I doubt that it will even be noticed. The brain tends to correct for situations like that.

Well, there you go, you just screwed all your chances for Pomona, and should just call them up and tell them your rescinding your application. j/k, think about all the factors that go into college and now think about how much wieght essay paragraph indentations have. >.001%. Seriously, the only weigh errors can hurt you much is if there are a bunch of them and they are really obvious, otherwise, they're not going to do anything. Stop worrying, and take a deep breath.

Deep breath taken! Thanks guys!
