This is bugging me..

Which makes more sense, choice 1 or choice 2:

Choice 1:
I hope that you may consider me for a scholarship or any need based financial aid based on your review of my grades and statistics.
Choice 2:
I hope based on your review of my grades and statistics that you may consider me for a scholarship or any need based financial aid.

This is very important but it's just one of those dilemmas.. thanks lol.

choice 2, but change 'based' to 'after' and put a comma between hope/between and statistic/that...

"I hope, after on your review of my grades and statistics, that you consider me for a scholarship or need-based financial aid"

oops: "I hope, after your...."

I hope, based on your review of my grades and statistics, that you consider me for a scholarship or any need based financial aid.

Based on your review, I hope that you consider me for a scholarship or for need based financial aid.

-- if you want to include grades, replace statistics with another word.

this is like SAT writing all over again, and choice E would be like

Hopefully, considering me for a scholarship, any need based financial aid based on your review of my grades.

maybe you should be like

I hope you consider me for merit or need-based aid upon reviewing my statistics.

"Please give me scholarship."

straight to the point.

I'm smart. Give me money.

That works.

active voice is always better than passive.

That's a lie.
