This is confusing.

I plan on applying [probably EA] to UGA, Vanderbilt, GC&SU, Duke, and possibly Emory. Depending on if I get HUGE financial aid packages at the OOS colleges, I'm going to go to UGA or GCSU for a year or two. This is simply because of the HOPE scholarship, which'll pay for tuition, etc.
As far as I know, UGA and GCSU both do NOT require SAT II tests for admission, I think UGA maybe uses them for credit [which I'll already have from AP tests]. BUT if I plan to try and transfer to Vandy/Duke/Emory later on [probably junior year], do I need to worry about them requiring SAT II tests? I think Vanderbilt doesn't require them, but I don't know about the others. You can't take the SAT II's once you're in college, right? So if I don't take any and go to UGA, then is my transfer attempt going to fail miserably? Because I don't have part of the required admissions?
Bleh.
I don't know.
If I need to take the SAT IIs anyway, I'd like to do Latin [but it's not offered again till December?!], and I don't know what else.

Please help? :]

why wouldn’t you be able to take subject tests in college? is this a cb policy? i would look it up… if you don’t need subject tests for uga/gcsu, then how would they know about you taking them in december? just my $.02

I was wondering about the December tests for if I’m accepted to Vandy and get enough aid $$ to make it worth going there all four years. I’d like to put the scores on the application, but if EA, I’ll have already applied by Dec.
And I’m not sure about taking them in college, I’ve just never heard of anybody doing it.

hmmm… well, this is interesting. Have you talked to vandy officials about this? I mean, i’m in the same situation where I want hope to pay for my schooling, but I’d like to go out of state.

have you ever thought about taking two SAT2s first, before you apply EA to vandy, and then take latin later(in december) and see if they want you to send it in after you get your scores?
